Tickets are on sale for the 25th Annual Colorado Snow and Avalanche Workshop (CSAW).
Join us Friday, Oct. 16 at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center for a full-day program of engaging presentations on the latest research, operational insights, and real-world lessons from leaders across the avalanche community.
Friends of CAIC hosts two flagship events each season – Colorado Snow and Avalanche Workshop (CSAW) and CAIC Benefit Bash – in addition to avalanche awareness, community fundraisers, and partner events throughout the state in support of our mission!
CSAW hosts the industry’s most respected thought leaders for presentations and discussions about the latest in snow and avalanche safety research, techniques, and technologies. While intended for avalanche forecasters, ski patrollers, and other professional groups, the event is open to anyone interested in deepening their understanding of snow and avalanche science. This year’s CSAW is Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center.
CAIC Benefit Bash is the biggest party of the year supporting avalanche safety and education in Colorado! Live music, cold beer, huge raffle and silent auction, outdoor vendors, and over 1,000 stoked backcountry enthusiasts coming to the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center on Saturday, December 12, 2026.
